Mission Statement

Wave Robotics is a family of students, mentors, and supporters. They work together through community outreach and engaging STEAM projects. They seek to inspire by providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment with opportunities not found in the classroom.

History

Founded in 2008, Wave Robotics was created with the intent of providing STEAM based opportunities to High School students. Students work in tandem with industry professionals as volunteer mentors. These mentors provide, guide, and teach students the skills they can use in the workplace. It is through this approach students gain both the skills and techniques for success.

Wave Robotics has since expanded its opportunities for all grades K-12. They also host a variety of outreach activities including summer camps, Lego League scrimmages, city-wide workshops, and more.

The Wave Robotics program engages with over 150 students and 40 volunteers. Their volunteer activities alone affect thousands of students and community members each year.

The program is steadily expanding to offer new programs for an evolving world. We are always looking for volunteers to help us make this program a reality for students. Please visit our contact page for more information.
